Your questions, our answers

Everything you need to know about integration, billing, security, and formats. Still have a question? Write to us, we reply quickly.

Integration

No. Everything is managed via the URL: you build a URL with your parameters, cloudphoto returns the transformed image. No SDK, no library to install.

All of them. Since a transformation is just a URL, cloudphoto integrates with any language (Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, Python…) or CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow) without any dependency to install.

No. Just point cloudphoto to your existing source URLs (S3, server, public site) and start transforming. No re-uploading, no migration.

Generate a srcset: one URL per width, each signed. The browser chooses the variant suited to the screen, generated and cached on demand.

Billing

Pay-as-you-go: you only pay for CDN traffic actually delivered to your visitors, per GB. No subscription, no tiers, no commitment. Transformations and storage are included.

Only CDN traffic delivered to your visitors (egress), per GB. Variant generation, caching, and storage are included.

None. No subscription, no tier to choose in advance, no monthly minimum. A month without traffic costs nothing.

15 days, no credit card required, with access to all features. At the end, you switch to pay-as-you-go if you want—otherwise, nothing happens.

Security

Each URL is signed in HMAC-SHA256 with your token's secret. It's impossible for a third party to generate unauthorized variants—your costs stay under control.

Server side only. HMAC signature is calculated on your backend; never expose your key in browser JavaScript or a public repository.

Each URL is signed with HMAC-SHA256: a third party cannot create arbitrary variants to inflate your traffic. Only the URLs you sign are served by the CDN.

Formats & performance

WebP by default, AVIF, or format=auto: each browser receives the lightest format it supports. JPG and PNG remain available if you need them.

84 to 99% weight reduction per image depending on the source. A typical product photo goes from 2.41 MB to 143 KB in AVIF, without changing a line of your HTML.

One month on the multi-region CDN. Your visitors receive the nearest image geographically, served instantly from the cache.

Storage

Yes. Point to any source URL: Amazon S3, EC2, shared hosting, public site. Nothing to migrate.

Yes, image storage is included if you don't want to manage your own. You can also point to any existing source URL, no migration needed.
